Our Sassy friend Diane stopped by today and I insisted that she pose for a picture with her sassy rescue dog who just happens to be named... you guessed it - Sassy! Greetings and Happy Almost Wednesday my Sassy Frassy Friends!!  Laurie here.   As some of you may know, Bike Week in Daytona starts this Friday, March 10 and goes through March 19th. What does this mean for our fair city? It means we are going to hear the roar of some mighty cool motorcycles as they check out Mt. Dora on one of their sides trips from the beach! Sassy Seconds is going to be ready to welcome them with some amazing biker apparel including jackets, vests, chaps, gloves, shirts, belts, pants, helmets and more! Starting this Saturday we'll have a table in front of the shop dedicated to all things motorcycle, so whether you are a real biker, or just play one on TV, please come by and check it out, then come on it the store and see all of the new spring and summer items we've put out this week. Good Monday Morning my Not Ready for the Weekend to be Over Friends!

Laurie here. I was dragging when I got into Sassy Seconds this morning but good fortune shined on me when new customers and now friends Nina and Wendy walked in to perk me up. They'd been on a long walk when Wendy's flip flop broke! Fortunately they remembered passing Sassy earlier in the morning. It took Wendy about 3 minutes to find 2 pair of shoes, and then she took a great looking Coach bag and several pieces of jewelry off of my hands! Thank you girls for shopping Sassy, and for your hugs and positive thoughts. They were much needed today as I shared with you, and as you said, there was a reason you came in and we met! I love this town and I so appreciate the friends I have made in this store. It keeps me smiling! Hope to make a few more friends today so come see me! Cheers!

Good Afternoon Sassy Mt. Dorians and Beyond! Laurie here. We had a great weekend here at Sassy Seconds and want to thank those who stopped in to shop after braving the crowds at the art festival. A good time was had by all! I want to remind our customers that we have some amazing first run leather pieces from Europe here at the shop including pants, vests, jackets and boots and let me tell you, they feel as soft as "butta" ! I've pictured some of the items below so call the shop if you are interested; 352-530-7988. The Harley Davidson motorcycle jacket pictured with the black leather pants is not one of the items from Europe but it is very cool and needs a forever home! Good Afternoon My Funky February Friends! Laurie here. The new year is flying by and we are already creeping up on Valentine's Day! Here at @Sassy Seconds we've decided to kick off Art Festival Weekend with a Red Sale! All solid red items in the store will be 15% off and we have several great pieces including those pictured. Remember Valentine's Day isn't just a day for "couples".... It's a great time to let all those you love know it, and to show yourself some love!! I'm letting my husband know I love him by taking the burden of finding me a V-Day gift right off of him! I know he'll appreciate it and I already have a shirt here in the store I have my eye on. Good Afternoon my Fun and Fiesty Friends! Laurie here. Owner Robin is finally feeling better after some wicked health issues so all is now well at @Sassy Seconds! You just have to come check us out this week. We have gotten in several almost new Coach purses (pictured) as well as Dooney & Bourke, Brighton, Liz Claiborne and more. We also have a few more pieces of Brighton jewelry that will go quickly as always, and so much more. Good Afternoon My Frisky Friends! Laurie here. Admit it, this chilly weather gets you in the mood....for shopping :) :)! You have got to get down to Sassy Seconds! First of all, the City cut down the huge oaktree out front that was unfortunately dying and dropping large branches, leaving just the stump. It certainly opens things up out front and we are enjoying perching our sandwich board on it! Also, we have some amazing new and consigned jewelry, scarves, etc. that will make perfect holiday gifts. Our friend, local artist Bill Chelseth, has a wonderful showcase of his glass jewelry here at Sassy and I have pictured some of it below. The earrings are amazing and he has pendants, barrettes and rings that are just fabulous. Oh, and we have some truly tacky vintage Xmas sweaters that you have to see to believe! Woo hoo!
